Dear Dave, Ron and Lori: You may not remember me but I grew up in Roxboro. Your father was one of my first hockey coaches and Dave and I were good friends for a few years, until I moved to Nova Scotia in 1974. I just noticed your father's obituary in the Ottawa Citizen and it brought back some happy memories. I recall that your dad (and mom) were really wonderful people. My deepest sympathy, but I am sure you also have many happy memories that will live on. Take care, Dean Hamilton, Stittsville, ON

Dear Lori, Ronald, David and Families, One of the greatest neighbors and Friends our Family has ever had; Russ and Corinne were tops. They were responsible for my Family moving to 15th. Street, Roxboro. We enjoyed having them as neighbors from 1972 until their move to Manotick. We will never forget their kindness and friendship over the many years. Wish we could be with you all at this time of sorrow. Lyndol and Family.

Dear Lori Ann, The last time I saw you, you were leaving work to run to the hospital,to see your dad who had fallen and hurt himself. How sad it was to see your post today, Please accept my condolences. It was clear you and your dad had a bond. My Ukrainian tradition has a song we sing at funerals in which we say that we will always remember our loved ones. Their memories are burned into our hearts. In time, you will be able to remember your dad with a smile and not the grief that is making your heart hurt. Sending you a hug.
