My condolences to the family. Rod and I were colleagues at CBNRC/CSE in the mid '60s and our paths there frequently crossed over the years. I always enjoyed listening to his flying experiences.

Dear Neufeld family, my deepest condolences for your lost. I first met Rod when I started working at CSE back in the 1980s. We were working together on major procurement. I found Rod to be very professional and personable and always had a smile. Once the project was done, Rod moved on to other things, but did see him later at the Ottawa Flying club. He was very passionate about flying. Still had the smile. Daniel

I knew Rod for many years and worked with him on several very successful inter-group projects at CSE. He was always very professional in his approach to solving problems. We shared many thoughts and laughs and I learned to value his judgement highly. So sad to read of his passing. My sincerest condolences to his wife and family.

The Ottawa aviation community has lost a an avid participant and supporter. For those of us who had the pleasure of flying with Rod it was always clear aviation was a true and abiding passion for him. His camaraderie, kindness and generosity, in the air and on the ground, will be sadly missed. Our deepest condolences go out to Carol, John, Mark and their families.
