8 June 2017 Dear Jamie, Doug and Family: My son, Douglas, and I were grieved to learn of your dear mother's demise on Thursday, 25 May 2017. My late wife, Dorothy "Dottie", and I were very close friends to your parents at RCAF Station Aylmer, 1954 to 1960. After the Station closed most of us were transferred overseas to NATO. There were about 16 couples that enjoyed great companionship during those years. Only 3 are alive today. We were at RCAF Station Aylmer for 6½ years and then went to England for 2 years and then to Sardinia for 2 years. We often visited the 4 RCAF Wings, including 4 Wing at Baden-Baden or Lahr. We always were happy to see your mum and dad and you two on our visits. I was very pleased to show you the photos of your parents enjoying with the group various parties at Aylmer, especially the New Year's party on 31 December 1956. I will make copies for you next week. Our visit on Tuesday brought back so many happy memories. I will cherish them until I too leave this troubled world. It was a pleasure to meet all of your extended family. God bless you all and Patricia and Ted too. Most sincerely, Dick Malott S/L(Retd), CD

I feel so very fortunate to have had such a cherished friendship particularly during the last 10 years, with my dear Auntie Pat. We always had such fun going shopping & having lunch together, then returning home for her wonderful tea time, during which we would always chatter away. Auntie Pat loved to talk about the joy of her amazing life as well as that of my mother's and grandmother's. Thank You Dear Auntie Pat for sharing such special times with me, I will forever treasure them. Your Loving Niece Janie

My Aunt Pat..what a remarkable woman she was. I fondly remember her sense of humour and her laugh, her wit, her panache and style, her athleticism and her tremendous love of her family. I last saw her at her apartment for lunch where my sis, Jane made her favourite sandwich-egg salad and we told stories, reminisced and laughed a lot. I was glad to see that she still loved her desserts (as I do). Sadly she was the last of the "Jessup" clan and I am proud to continue the "family" name in my middle name! A big hug to you Aunt Pat...enjoy your next life with Uncle Ted.

To Jamie, Doug and families - when I saw that your Mom has passed away, it brought back a lot of good memories of my parents and yours partying and having lots of fun in Germany and remembering some of the crazy stuff we did. I always liked your Mom and Dad. Sorry to see that she is gone. Hope you guys are well. All the best, Susan
