Mev was a neighbour to Sandy Mutch, my father who has lived at Stillwater for ten years. I've enjoyed Mev's charming personality and complete enjoyment of the live entertainment. She brightened the life of everyone who met her and is a role model to enjoying life to the fullest. She will be missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Aunt Mev. Remember the great times eating you out of house and home...playing all sorts of cards...seeing you folks the morning after the night before. I had the great honour of meeting Melva(spring 2013) while researching for stories for Fairground Follies" performed by RRTC. I found Melva to be a truly interesting person and so-forthcoming. I am saddened to hear of her passing. We have lost one of the strong community elders. BTW Melva really enjoyed the actor portrayal. She said "she nailed it" What a high compliment indeed!
