My dear Sue. Gail and I are so saddened and sorry for your sudden loss of Max. I unfortunately could not be with you and your family on Sunday as I suffered a mild heart attack this past week and received 5 stents. Max was a special person who gave of himself and in doing so was always kind, gentle, and a cherished friend and companion. He served our chorus with distinction and gave us all many hours of work and attention that was always needed. When you needed something done, Max was always the first person to step up and do it. May the passing weeks and months with your family soften the blow of this tremendous loss and may you look back on many years of togetherness and joy to sustain you as you move forward. With great love and fondness, Brock and Gail Sharpe

Dear Sue: I send my deepest condolences. I have so many wonderful memories of Max with the chorus, and countless other times His commitment and contribution to Camp Smitty will never be forgotten by both the chorus and the camp. Max had the ability to make people happy and welcome at all times. Of course his "Newfie" sense of humour so often kept us all uncontrollably laughing. Max was a unique person, devoted to family and friends. It has been an honour to have known Max, and he will be truly missed by all the lives he touched. We are so sorry we cannot be at his funeral as we are in Tobago, but Judy and I are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers Tom and Judy
