For all the. Clarke family, deepest sympathy from another miniature friend of Sylvia's. I have a lot of her incredible food and the great pieces she brought from England as well as the things she taught me to make in her classes. She stayed with me when she came to MET to teach and I had the great priviledgege of staying at the B&B several times and enjoying the hospitality of Sylvia and Keith. We had just exchanged e-mail addresses at Christmas so we could gab. An old friend, greatly missed.

Our deepest sympathy for all of sylvia's family. We know that she will be truly missed by all, including ourselves. She and her beloved husband were our great friends from our first meeting in Brockville, some years ago. After Keith's passing, Sylvia and I spent many times travelling to craft shows, bake sales and doing some shopping, occasionally stopping for a cold one. We have quite a few of her little hand made miniatures in our home that are a constant reminder of the wonderful woman who has now left us to be with her beloved husband. But, she shall be remembered for the caring, kind, compassionate, person, she was,

So shocked and sad to hear about the passing of Sylvia; she was a very kind- hearted person and my late husband, Arnim, and I were always glad to see her and her late husband, Keith, at many of the miniature dollhouse shows we all were participated in over the years. She will be missed very much; my deepest condolences. Pat Gorgas

My deepest condolences to your family. Your mother was a lovely lady I had the pleasure of knowing during our time together at Bell. If I remember correctly she used to make dolls that I would buy for my niece.

To Sylvia's Family: So sad to hear of the loss of such a vibrant, kind lady. I have known Sylvia for approx. 30 years through the Miniature World. It was Sylvia who introduced me to the wide world of Miniatures and the Miniatures Enthusiasts of Ottawa. I consider myself very fortunate to own a few pieces of her work as well as my own creations, thanks to her workshops. May you know that she will live on in her creations. May she continue to enjoy the tiny things in life in Heaven.

To my Clarke cousins, I was very sad to hear that Sylvia has passed. I am lucky to have known her because she was a truly lovely person. She will be fondly remembered by the extended Dee family. We have happy memories of when your family pulled up to the house in Barachois years ago. I know that vacation was all Sylvia's doing because she told me all about it, and she put a huge smile on Grandpa's face to see some of his sister Diane's family. Hugs from cousin Debbie Dee. xoxo

Hello Clarke Family Philip & I were shocked to hear that Aunt Sylvia had a stroke we had planned to visit her in hospital but she passed so quickly. I have wonderful childhood memories of lots great times with her. I think my. It's favourite is when we took New York City by storm while my folks were busy doing other activities with dad's (Paul Lardner). She took me skating in Rockefeller, we explored FAO Schwartz and we ate hot warm pretzels for lunch. She never not once complained. We even went out for Lobster at this restaurant called the RedBarn. She didn't even realize what she had gotten herself into. Dad let her have this massive lobster while I enjoyed the largest shrimp cocktail I have ever seen. I will cherish these memories that I have of her. I pray that now she's having a wonderful time with Uncle Keith. You all are in our prayers and I hope that these memories help you heal. Love Kimberley Peebles (Lardner)

It truly saddens me to hear of the passing of such a wonderful woman. I will always cherish all the wonderful memories that I have of spending time with her and the family. I was always treated like I was a part of the Clarke family. She was a second mom to me as well as my sisters. Being the youngest was just an added bonus being with the Sheila. Gone but never will she be forgotten. My condolences to you Diane and to all the family as well. Love you all Jackie Visser (Vincent)
