He was a dear friend who I will miss a great deal. We spent many occasions chatting about our mutual love of auto-racing, theater and life in general. His passing came as a shock as he always seemed to muddle his way through the illness. Isla , we have never met but he spoke very lovingly of you and seemed very happy to have you in his life. R.I.P Lynn and our deepest condolences to you Isla, and the whole family. Love Miles, Louise and our boys Marc and Paul.

Remembering Lynn goes back to high school, through motor racing, Nova Scotia, Chicago, cats, New Orleans, black russians at Christmas and a vault of shared moments from all of these times and places. A life well-lived, a friend who will be missed sorely.

Dearest Isla: My heart goes out to you at this time of sorrow and loss. I came to know Lynn through you and I thank you for this. I remember my first encounter with Lynn a couple of summers ago when you gave me one of your bikes. Lynn & I corresponded by email and he met me at your house in the backyard with his tool kit ready to make adjustments to the bike so that it might fit my height. He explained the brake system and the pros & cons of this particular bike and gallantly rode with me along the canal observing how the bike performed. What a lovely man: thoughtful, kind and courteous. After that encounter the three of us met at concerts and spent one full day in Montreal at the Musee des beaux arts, wandering through the gallery, eating when hungry and chatting at will. I so enjoyed both your company and I was grateful that you found a friend that was open to your friends & family. Lynn will be missed. I miss him now. Thank you for introducing me to Lynn. May his kind, thoughtful and intelligent soul rest in peace. Much love to you and my respectful condolences to Lynn's family.
