Peacefully on Monday November 13, 2017, with her children at her side and just 17 days short of her 99th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Maurice Mazier. Devoted and loving mother of Suzanne (Don Casey) and Mitch (Judy). Cherished Nana of Natalie (Jeff D’Angelo), Steph (Devin Loney) and Laura. Proud Great-Nana of Savana & Kolby. Dearest sister of Raymond (Etta), late Richard (Dorothy), late Benjamin (Marie), Philip (Georgina) and caring Aunt to many Nieces and Nephews. Linda was born in West Pubnico Nova Scotia and moved to Ottawa as a young woman to pursue employment opportunities. She met her husband Maurice in Ottawa and they married in 1954. With Maurice as an RBC Bank Manager they were transferred to different branches in Ontario and New Brunswick, until his passing in 1968. At that time Linda moved back to Ottawa with her young children where she built a life with them, Raymond and Richard’s families until her passing. Funeral Service will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1489 Shea Road, Stittsville, on Saturday November 25, 2017 at 11:00 am. A Reception in celebration of her life will follow in the church hall. A Memorial Reception will be scheduled in the Yarmouth area later in 2018 for Nova Scotia Family and Friends and interment at the family plot in the Hectanooga Community Cemetery.
