Laura was a devoted friend and colleague I was fortunate to know for many years at the OCDSB and afterwards in retirement. Though I am across the country right now, my heart is with the family she loved.

Ken and Joel, please accept my deepest condolences on your loss. Laura and I worked together on my very first role as Chief Negotiator. She was incredibly supportive and encouraging. Also, her true kindness to me at the time of my husband's death was so deeply appreciated. I join you in mourning the loss of her beautiful, kind soul.

Dear Ken & Family, We were very saddened to learn of Laura's passing. Not only did I have the pleasure of working with her at B, but my daughter was fortunate to have her as a Spec Ed teacher many years' ago. Laura always had the time to stop & talk to us and many a day I wonder where my daughter would be today without the help Laura gave her back in Public School. We Love you, Laura, RIP

Ken, Joel and Jenni, I am so sorry to here the news, I worked with Laura for a lot of years at the OCDSB, and it is true, God only takes the good ones. She must be needed else where for something far more important that we know. So sorry, she will never be far away, as she will always be in your hearts.
