Keith William Davidson

Suddenly, at home, on Thursday, July 7, 2016, at the age of 83, while enjoying one of his favourite past-times – crafting beautiful stained glass. Beloved husband of Marilyn (Wright) for 9 years and the late Shirley, for 50 years. Loving son of the late Audrey Beatty and Andrew Davidson. Cherished father of Deborah Compston (Michael), Hal Davidson (Colleen Munro), both of Alberta and Kerry Roy (Bruce) of Ottawa. Treasured Papa of Philip (Danielle), Spencer, Andrew, Audrey (Dan), Keith Fotios, Matthew and Jackson. Proud step-father of Cindy Bradley (John) and Geoff Wright (Tessa) and step-grandfather of Leah, Charlotte, Noah and Gavin. Dear brother of Elinor Callan (Doug) and Gwenn Fulford (Stewart). He will also be lovingly remembered by extended family, colleagues and friends. Keith’s passion for life was reflected in his many diverse interests, including; flying, boating, woodworking, stained glass, gardening and travel. His generosity and wisdom were gifts to all who knew and loved him. A memorial service in celebration of Keith’s life will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, where he was a long time member, 5533 Dickinson Street, Manotick at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 14, 2016. Reception to follow in the church basement. Private inurnment, Capital Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be greatly appreciated.
