Carol and I did not have an opportunity to meet Kalyana but we heard a lot about her from Chris and the words you wrote told us even more. Clearly she was a wonderful person who inspired and was greatly loved. Kalyana's story has touched many people, including us. And as I write this, the words of Desiderata, written almost 100 years ago, ring in my mind: Whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him or Her to be, And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Unfortunately, we will not be able to be at the service but we will be thinking about you Love and best wishes to both of you and all the family Barrie and Carol

Kalyana - a beautiful little treasure, borrowed for too short a time. Though I have no doubt your hearts feel broken, you must each take solace in the fact that despite this short time you both devoted so much to Kalyana and in doing so fulfilled all of her needs through the most wonderful, loving and committed family - I remain inspired and in awe. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all....Stephanie.
