It is with great sadness we announce Kalyana’s passing early morning on February 22 in her parents loving arms. Kalyana is the beloved daughter of Jean-Marc and Courtney and little sister to her big fur brother Alejo. Much loved Granddaughter to Christine and Jean, Valerie and Raymond and Richard. Great Granddaughter to Mary. Niece to Jeff and Lindsey, Patricia and Samesh, Lloyd and Jennifer, Annie and Marc Andre and Karyne. Cherished goddaughter of Clara and Brian.  Although Kalyana’s life was far too short she felt tremendous love. She was a fierce little girl who took every challenge that was thrown at her and fought through it every day of her precious life. She loved to be snuggled, enjoyed her bath time to classical music and the blues with Dad and loved Moana. Kalyana celebrated her 6th month milestone at NAC’s Nutcracker ballet and her 8th month milestone with a night out at an Ottawa Senators Game. She will be deeply missed.  A very special thank you to the staff in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at CHEO, who without we would not have been able to bring Kaly home. Also a tremendous thanks and appreciation to the incredible Doctors, nurses and staff at Roger Neilson House. Your care and compassion far exceeded any expectations we could have had. You helped to make sure Kaly lived her best life as happy and comfortably as possible and shared the tools for us to continue so at home. For that we are eternally grateful.  Kalyana – Mummy and Daddy Love you and will forever cherish every moment you gave us.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 1st, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Parish, 15 Steeple Hill Crescent, Nepean, ON Canada K2R 1G2, with service to follow at 11 a.m.  Donations in lieu of flowers would be appreciated to either Roger Neilson House ( or CHEO’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (
