I would like to offer my condolences to the family of Jack Edge. I met Jack many years ago, in the late 1970's, when he hired me as a student to work for him at his beer store on Merivale Road. I have had a good many bosses since then, but none as kind and generous as Jack. He treated everyone with respect and dignity, but especially us young students. I still remember his Black Label beer and Wednesday golf games. He was a fantastic golfer, but like other things about him, was too modest to admit it. You all are so fortunate to have had Jack in your lives for as long as you did. Even a short time for me made a big difference. Rest in peace, my friend. Wayne

To the Edge family: I worked with Jack at Brewers in the 60's in the office and went travelling with him on out of town beer store audits. I left Brewers in the same decade but continued to keep in touch with him and we had a couple of golf games together over the years. A finer gentleman and person would be hard to find. I also knew your mother and she fiit in the same mould. My condolences on the loss of your father.
