Dear Willa and family, We are so sorry we were unable to attend my godfathers service. As Jessica Hare I grew up under the extended arms of the MacDonald's / Hare / Kane families who believed, quite rightly that my godfather walked on water. This was the child who began reading comic books at the age of 3. Ross is already greatly missed. Please accept our heartfelt condolences. May a perpetual light shine upon him. Jess, Gary, Natasha and Chris and children

Dear Willa and family Deepest condolences from the Grants who once lived beside you on Hobart Cres. You were the nicest neighbors anyone could have had , especially you, Willa, with your great kindness and friendliness! Ross was an excellent and fun neighbour too. It's so very hard to lose a long-term partner and friend and father! Our thoughts are with you today. Love Pat Grant and family

Marg and I, and our whole family, have fond memories of Ross from our times on Hobart Crescent. We all admired Ross and all the MacDonald family. We had such great times; and it's such a pity, as it must happen, that we lose dear friends. I still have that fine bottle of Glenfiddich the MacDonalds gave me on my 80th birthday.. My sincere condolences to the MacDonald family. Ross and I go back many years. We met at the former Department of Communications in the 70's. He was an officer and a gentleman. As a rookie in government, I considered him to be my first mentor. He will be missed.

Angus, Janet and family: Angus one of my best memories of your dad, is at Laura's wedding 8 years ago. He was all dressed in his Scottish kilt, as were other families members. As we shared memories and thoughts on our Scottish Heritage. Always a man with a kind smile and very pleasant to chat with. He will be deeply missed by Darrell and I and sons.
