Susan, our deepest condolences to you and your family in the loss of your mom. Irene so often talked of you and your uncle, Jim, when we worked together at the Journal all those years ago. Even though we didn't get to see her as frequently as we would have liked, we kept in touch and she will be missed. Debby & Wayne

Dear Susan and family; Deep sympathy on passing of your mother. In the 50's Herbie was our local boys softball coach and what a great contribution he and Irene made for benefit of local youth. Your home was the focal point for the team and they sacrificed much for our benefit. They were such a kind and generous couple. I also knew Don Lemoine well but guess he was a cousin and not brother of Irene. Then in summer of 1957 I worked at the Experimental Farm and went to work with your Dad. Such pleasant memories 60 years ago. With best wishes and regards, Dave Mowat

My deepest Sympathy to all the grandchildren and great grandchildren, I've known your grandmother for almost all my life having met Susan through public school, I was her maid of honour at her wedding and our friendship has lasted some 40 years. Irene was a great grandmother, grandmother, mother she put others ahead of herself I remember when I had my car still and dropped in for a visit always making you feel welcome she'll be missed by everyone who touched her in some way. RIP Irene

So very sorry to hear of your loss. She was a great neighbour and I cannot believe all these years later, we could just pick up the phone and talk like we saw each other the day before. She loved you all so much and spoke of all the time she spent with you and all the good things her family did for her. Thanks Irene for being the good person and neighbour you were!
