Gulshan, Anaiya-Mai and I are all deeply saddened by the loss of Hans. During the last few days we have remembered her generous spirit, her infectious smile, her absolute self-regard, her joy and appetite for life, her capacity to inspire - and her courage to face all that her life put in her way. Maybe not today and maybe not tomorrow but in time we hope that there will be comfort in knowing that the lives of all of us that had the pleasure of knowing and loving Hans, have been enriched by her presence. We hope that each day that passes will bring both promise and peace to Phil and all of her family.

Dear Phil - you may not remember me, but I worked with you and Hans years ago on the BRP project in Charlottetown. It is with sadness that I read about Hans' premature departure from this world. May you take comfort in the love and support of your family and friends at this most trying time. The picture of Hans is just so lovely - just like she is ready to step off the page and into the world - in her most professional, organized and yet humorous manner. I must share with you the first time I met Hans. She was walking beside me and she said, "I must warn you, I don't take breaks, I work through lunch and I very rarely take a bathroom break!" The tone was set from there about her dedication and work ethic. Sincere sympathies to you Phil. Orlanda Drebit

I am so very saddened to learn of Han's passing. I had the pleasure of getting to know Hans, both from a work and a social perspective, a few years ago while Hans was working in Charlottetown. Hans' infectious laugh, easy-going, yet professional, manner and her teaching skills are attributes I will always remember and cherish. I am a better person for having had Hans in my life. My deepest sympathy to Phil and Hans' Family as they travel through this very sad and difficult time. Mary Brodersen

Hans made quite an impact on the lives of many, many individuals through her teaching of business analysis. Many of her peers here at Procept Associates Ltd. have been saddened by her passing and are sharing memories back and forth via email. Clearly, she has touched their hearts and has made a lasting impression. We will miss her cheery smile and her encouraging words. Our hearts go out to Philip and the rest of her extended family.

We were all so sad to hear about Hans' passing. All who worked with her in Charlottetown have fond memories of both the challenging and fun times that we spent with Hans for those few years. We were all impressed by Hans intelligence and work ethic. I smile when I think of her laugh and her good humour in face of some pretty challenging situations. She was never one to give up. We all learned so much from her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Phil and family as you navigate this difficult time.
