Betty was first class! I think of her as a lady always ready to 'go and do', and with an uncomplaining approach to life. She was a wonderful friend always with a warm smile and greeting for everyone. She was sporty and fun loving and obviously so in love with her dear Lornie and her wonderful family. She appeared to count her blessings no matter what life tossed her way .. a trait to be emulated for sure. And she was indeed blessed with the constant love and support she received from Barb, and the rest of her family, after Lorne was gone. Betty also had so many dear friends. She will be remembered and missed by all of them. With condolences and loving thoughts from her good pal, the other Betty B. and Allie.

I remember Betty (Mrs. Booth to me, then) growing up on Westminster Ave in the 50's and 60's with Gord, Barb and John. The family was so active and welcoming I'm not sure when they had time to raise Tom. Best back yard rink, great cottage and never ending street hockey games. Betty always had a smile for me, except when certain lines were crossed. Horses A.., I remember being called once or twice. A great, beautiful woman and mother. My condolences to the Booth family. I'll never forget her, or you.

Betty has been a wonderful friend and neighbour at Lac Gauvreau for 50 years. Her cheerful, warm hospitality and sense of humour have brightened three generations of my family and her memory will continue to do so for all of us who benefited from her presence. All of the Leech families send condolences to all of the Booth families, wishing them comfort in this time of loss, but confident that Betty is now at peace.
