Dear McRae Family, We are very sorry to hear of the passing of our good friend "Cowboy". We enjoyed his friendly company many, many times at the Swan in the late 80's. We will miss him very much.

Dear Joan and Family, We are so sorry for your loss. A short time after moving from Frobisher Bay, N.W.T. we met Duaine at "The Swan". He came to be a good friend and someone who was always happy to see you and always in return brought a smile to your face. His woodworking expertise came to life as I called upon him to help me make a wooden frame, over many memorable hours, for my "stained glass swan" for "The Swan". We will miss you"Cowboy". Safe travels. Moe and Joe

Hello Joan and Family - We are so sorry to hear of Duaine's passing. I just saw it in the Citizen this morning. We are out of the country in South Carolina for the winter. Duaine was a wonderful character with a wide range of interests and experiences. We are sorry not to be in the area to come to the visitation. I am sure it will be a packed pub at the Swan on Saturday as you and family have so many friends in the area. All the best to you and the family in this difficult time. You are in our thoughts. love Sandy and Rosie

Joan and family; I am saddened to hear of Cowboy's passing. He was the first person I met at the Swan all those years ago. His friendly face was always a welcome sight and his hearty laugh many times brightened the end of a work weary- day. Please accept these heavy-hearted condolences from someone who has also recently lost a loved one.

What a touching obituary. To all of you, I am so sad to hear about your loss. Mrs. McRae, I am grateful that you have as loving a family as you do to give you comfort at this time. Heather, Karen and Roberta, when you work with your hands, when you create something beautiful as you always do, may you warmly remember who that trait came from. To all of his grandchildren, I only had to read your Grandpa's recent Facebook posting to Allie to feel the love he felt for you. He seemed to me to be a cowboy with a very big heart. With love, Judy

Dear Heather, I want to let you know that you and your family are in our thoughts. Victor and I met your mother the other day at the Health Centre. I was there for an appointment and while I went in, Victor chatted with your mother. She was there with your Dad. She mentioned that you had driven them. I am sorry that we did not have an opportunity to chat with your Dad. We send you our sincere condolences and love. Lindsay and Victor
