Dear Nancy: I am very sorry to learn of the loss of your dear dad. I send you and your family my deepest heart-felt sympathy. I shall always remember how you, Nancy, were/are able to get out of your hockey gear and out of the rink so quickly. It took a long time for me to learn that this was because you always had a most important appointment: you were heading off to have lunch with your dad, helping him eat his lunch and tending to his needs, an act of kindness and love I learned you did every single day. What a wonderful daughter; he must have been so proud of you. Looks like he taught you really well as to what is important in life, what holds real value and meaning. It is obvious to me that he was a man of integrity, strong and honest values, and with a moral compass pointing to love, kindness, consideration and respect. What tremendous values he must have had and that he passed on to his kids. A wise man indeed.

Although I didn't know him he altered my life. he was my surgeon three times and influenced my decision to not take all of the questionable breast tissue. I knew I was in good hands and trusted his judgement. Sincere sympathy to you on your great loss .
