Dear Darlene, Kaitlin and Scott: On behalf of David's cousins (Doug, Linda[me], Cindy and Glenn), children of David's mom's brother Bill, I am sending our deepest regrets for not being able to attend the visitation and service on Dec. 9th, and also extend our sincere condolences to you, his nearest and dearest. David was a really good person, and even though we lost touch over the years we do know he loved you all dearly. We, his Uncle Bill's surviving kids, thought highly of him. May he rest in peace, and in the knowledge that he was dearly loved, was greatly respected, and will always be remembered by many. He gave my daughter Rachael a coffee table when she was settling into her apartment in Ottawa; he made the coffee table in his younger days and when clearing out his basement passed it on to her. Rachael in turn passed it on to me when she moved from Ottawa a year ago, and I have it now so I am grateful to have it as a remembrance of my eldest Penny cousin, and think of him every day because of it. He was a great guy, but you know that already.

Dear Darlene, Kaitlin, and Scott, Scott, Ella, Anika, and I are so sad that your family is suffering this terrible loss. We are grateful, though, to have had the unexpected chance last March to bump into all of you, together, at the airport comparing notes and laughs about our respective vacations. I may be away this weekend, but if not, I will see you Saturday. Please reach out whenever you're up for some company. ~Johannita

We did a lot of things in Elmira in the 1960s and 1970s from racing his motorized go cart to discovering elusive girlfriends. We were housemates in 3rd year university in Waterloo. Mick was a good guy and will be missed.
