Although I have lived far from my extended family for many years, I have such warm memories of Aunt Cecile, and how welcoming she was to me at Mont St. Bruno, when I visited as a teenager. She was loving and accepting, and I always remembered her with joy. I am very sorry for your loss Uncle Clare and cousins.

Cecile and Clare are wonderful people who made us feel welcome when we did not know anyone and we had relocated to California when Kerry accepted a position with Shell. We will remember her for her infectious laugh and wonderful personality. Our thought to Clare and her family. Conny and Kerry.

Dear Clare so very sorry to hear of Cec's passing. We have been friends since 1948 Terrace Bay days. Though we haven't seen each other for years we did keep in touch. She was funloving, thoughtful, kind and loved her family dearly. She will be missed.

Cecile was a valued member of the Eastminster Quilters in Belleville. She always challenged us with an innovative quilt that was different from anything we had seen before. Many of us are still using fabrics from her stash. She has been solely missed since her move to Ottawa. Carol

How sorry I was to read of Cec's passing. You were our next door neighbours in Sarnia, in 1959 to 1962 or so. Cec always was so kind to this young gal...well I was young then. I always wondered what became of all of you, and Clare my deepest sympathy. She was such a lovely kind soul, and I have very fond memories of her. May eternal rest be granted to her. RIP lovely lady.
