Mom, Joanne, Robin, Nancy and Barbara, My memories of Dad are so lovely. He was the kindest man and a great father-in-law to me. He took my teasing about his 1970's plaid golf pants (turned painting pants) with great humour and he always had a Dubonnet ready for me when we'd come for a visit! Our family times spent at Bungalow Island made the most wonderful impression on the grandchildren and I know they remember with much love his generosity of time during those long summer days. He taught them how to fish and even helped them build a sail boat from a canoe. He was a loving Pop and all four grandchildren will always know he was so proud of each of their accomplishments. Good man. He will be missed but thought of and spoken of in the future with fond memories. Love, Beth

Our deepest sympathy Aunt June, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I have good memories when I used to see Uncle Brain at family gatherings and enjoyed talking to him. My memories are of a gentle, inviting, genuine and pleasant person. He will surely be missed. Take care and know that we are thinking of you. Love Shaun, Shannon, Blake and Katie Armitage

Dear Aunt June and family...please accept my sympathy with Uncle Brian's passing. He was always a nice lad. I was looking at the plaque in the Shawville High School last year, where his name is listed as the architect. My heart and our family's is with you all, and we'll see you at his service. love...Mick
