Bessie was a wonderful person to know and I am saddened to hear of her death. I worked many years with Bessie after her retirement from the Heart Institute and she was a joy to be know and be associated with. Bessie was professional to the maximum and had a wonderful manner with new nurses and those she mentored. She will be greatly missed. She spoke often of her love for her family. She is with her Lord and I know we will meet again.

I had just reconnected with Bessie to arrange a get together in April. I couldn't been more shocked or Saddened. We had a chat on line & it was obvious she shared my devotion to her children & grandchildren whom she loved so much. To her beloved family I am so very sorry. Bessie was my classmate from 1970.

Robby, Aaron, Brad and families...We were deeply saddened to hear of your mom's short illness and sudden passing. Your mom held a very special place in our family, as she was more like a sister to mom. Her laughter will always ring clear and I have fond memories of time spent with her,in St. John's, as a very little girl! It was so very special when she took the time to take Mom to Kingston to visit Laura, while she was studying there! Over the many years, she was a special person who become embedded in , and will continue to have, a cherished place in our family. She will always be remembered for the love she shared and the happiness that she brought to others. Thinking of you with sympathy and hoping that you find comfort in your own special memories. Love, Rona and family
