To the family of Art and Irene Scott: I couldn't let the occasion of Art's passing go without adding a word of admiration for both Art and Irene. Many of us at the condo were remembering them this morning. They were cherished members of our community, playing active roles on the board, at the piano, and just being great neighbours. They left the world they lived in a better place. We send you our condolences.

Dear Karin and family, I'm very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I always used to think of him as Clark Gable, with that twinkle in his eye and his moustache. He was a great gentleman, worthy of the silver screen:) Sending many hugs. Gillian Taylor

To Bruce, Karin and family, I worked with your father for many years starting back in the days of TCA and well into the Air Canada era. Art was always a gentleman, a true professional and always a pleasure to work with. He will be sadly missed. My sincere condolences to all of you.

Mr. Scott was one of my grandpa's dearest friends. I always loved how they would joke together and reminisce about times gone by. Mr. Scott was an integral part of our family, maybe not by blood, but certainly through his actions. I will always fondly remember how Art and Irene joined the Henderson clan for part of our vacations in Bayfield. Mr. Scott would always look out on to the sunset over Lake Huron, he instilled in me a deep love of sunsets. Mr. Scott was one of the most generous individuals I ever knew, generous in his patience, his time and his laughter. He and Irene's marriage was one I always have looked up to as they were so caring of one another and loving of each other. Mr. Scott was an unfailingly kind man, and I know that those who loved him will miss him dearly.

I wish i could have seen you one last time before leaving us but I will always have the memories. You were my favourite uncle and I remember having sword fights with you when I was a kid. You had a long fulfilling life and I'm proud to say you were my uncle. Your at peace now and back with auntie Irene. Say hi to her for me. I love you and will miss you always.
