sorry I am late in relaying how sad and empty my heart is after I heard the news of uncle Arnold's passing. Many years of his visits I enjoyed his company as a teen and listening to his stories as well as Doug's and Kaye's. Mom and dad's house, Stan and Grace(Gamble) was the hub of the family visits over the years and for that I am grateful. His last visit down to Dartmouth was one I will always remember, having the pleasure to drive him to pier 21 where he let some stories of the war come forth, I only wish I took the time in my earlier years to talk more about his childhood. He will always be in my heart as I am sure he is in many who knew him. Love you always and I know you are with your family again, (((HUGS))) to all the family.

Arnold was a special friend. We met in our shared apartment building and struck up a friendship over suppers and trying to play fiddle and piano together. When I visited him at Perley-Rideau, it was comforting to see how well he was cared for. I will miss him.

The Kemptville College Alumni Board would like to extend sympathy to the Gamble family. Arnold was a proud '47 grad of the college and used to attend our reunions. Our thoughts are with you all.
