So sorry to hear of Archie's passing. I do hope Carole, Richard, and Geoffrey do remember me assisting with their care when they resided with their Grandpa, and Grandma Whitfield. I had many good times when I was assisting with your care at the farm. You will most likely remember John, and David Chisholm, as they use to come and play also. Many good memories of you folks, and especially your parents, Archie, and Ruth. I was shocked to see of Leslie's passing. Wish I would have known, as I would have liked to have seen you folks again. I could not make it to the celebration of Ruth's life, as I had other commitments at the time, but remember her so fondly. Again, take their memories with you for the rest of your lives. Joan Chisholm, use to be your neighbour in Belleville. Now live near Almonte, Ontario.

As a 1styear jr.resident in Surgery @ KGH I became associated with "Archie' when he was associated with KGH!s first Neurosurgeon.. Dr. Hetherington. Mrs. Hetherington, an Anaesthetist provided an anaesthetic for my wife for my 1st daughters delivery. I have remembered them since them and more frequently since moving to Belleville 53 years ago.I pass the house on Front St. north of 401 where I believe they resided for a time. I found them both to be pleasant, sincere, and great people. My deep sympathy to all members of the family that are left.I am now a retired General Surgeon. Peter Scott
