Paul and Carol; You were in my mind this morning for some reason. I googled your name and was overcome when I read about the tragic death of Alex. I remember him playing with my kids when they were much younger, along with Benjamin. You were so very proud of him. No parent should bury a child. Your grief and pain must be unbearable. May God help you and bring you peace. Alex is with Him now and there is a new star in the sky. My deepest sympathies. With love, Anna Marie

Paul, Carol and Ben: Our hearts are saddened by your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you. It was a pleasure to have had Alex in our home. He was a presence that resonated with all our whole family. His smiles, enthusiasm and zest for life were contagious and he taught us all what it was to truly live life to its fullest. Alex was certainly an inspiration to all and has left his mark on the world in the way he lived his life, the differences he made and the lives he touched. It is the little things, the small, everyday occurrences that you'll remember. The laughs, the stories, the smiles. Even though it seems like you can never recover from your loss, it is these very memories that will help to push the pain away and bring back the smiles. "Think of me sometimes and I won't seem so far away" Alex will forever be in our hearts, Kevin and Janice Rossi Angela(Noah), Jennifer(Ben) and Laura Rossi Rob(Shannon), Jordan, and Andrew Scott

Paul, Carol and Ben, We are so sorry to hear about Alex and his passing, I have trouble finding the words to express our sadness for your tragic loss. The loss of a child or brother is unimaginable and our thoughts and prayers are with you. The only words I can think of are to remember Alex's achievements and all the good he has done, remember all the laughter and the fun times you have all shared together. Paul and Carol, take pride in the man Alex had become. I know it has been a very long time since I have seen Alex but I was proud to hear how well he was doing and the direction he was going in life. Paul, you were my Captain and my Chief and I will always consider you my brother although we are several provinces apart, we will always be here for you any time you need us. Paul, Carol, Ben and Eddie, Words cannot express how broken my heart is for all of you. I never met Ben, but I knew him from the many talks and laughs Carol and I had while she was bragging about her boys! I will be saying a prayer for all of you on Wednesday. I am so sorry I cannot be there to support you, but I am here if you need me. Here is something a very dear friend sent to me when my dad passed. I hope it brings some comfort. "A tree has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don''t worry about falls. I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin. Until the day comes we're together again." Love all of you.
