POITRAS, Omer Joseph

Suddenly on Wednesday, July 25th, 2012 at the age of 84.  Predeceased by his wife, of 45 years, Marie-Berthe Dubien.  Loving father of Daniel (Lois), Jo-Anne (Gervais Carre), Michel (Sandy), Richard (Christine), and Dianne (Mike Demers).  Grandfather of 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.  Son of the late Eugene Poitras and Orosie Lasalle.  Brother of Lea Padberg (the late Paddy), and Roma (Therese).  Special thanks to the Emergency Department at the Civic Hospital for their kindness. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Remi Catholic Church, 2821 Dumaurier Street on Saturday, July 28th, 2012 at 11am, followed by reception.  Interment at Saint Louis de France Parish Cemetery, Poltimore, QC.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Omer, may do so to the Kidney Foundation.
