Goodwin - Joan Mavis (nee Christie)

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Des Goodwin.  Dearly loved mother of Janet Hanley (Nick), Susan Top (Andrew), Cherished grandmother of Andrew, Christie, Desmond, and Mavis. Predeceased by her grandson Jeffrey. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd. (between Baseline Rd. and Bayshore Dr.), Nepean on Friday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m.  Interment Beechwood Cemetery prior to service at 9:30 a.m. Those wishing may make memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society.
