Peacefully at home on Monday, September 17, 2012 in his 89th year.  Best friend and companion of Eileen Naylor.  Loving father of Doug (Cathy), David, and Susan Moore.  Cherished grandfather of Christie, Darrell, Lindsay, Sara and Andrew.  Brother of Gladys Croskery (Dave).  Predeceased by parents Earl and Merle Draper; brother Leslie Draper and sister Gwen Montgomery.  At Ira’s request, there will be no visitation.  A graveside service will be held at Zion United Church Cemetery (Upper Eardley), Hwy 148, Pontiac, QC on Thursday, September 20th at 1 p.m.  Those wishing may make memorial donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or The National War Museum of Canada.
