Cannon, Earl Myers

Passed away suddenly at the Carleton Place Hospital on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 in his 89th year. Loving and devoted father to Kim (late Colin) Rowan, Kirk (Cheryl) Cannon and the late Craig (Cheryl) Allen. Cherished Grandpa Earl to Kirk, Kevin, Jenna (Scott), Cale, Cara, Lindsey and Cody. Proud Great-Grandpa to Emery Anne Wilson. Dear brother to Bill (Gladys) Cannon and Myra (Glen) Kent and brother-in-law Bill Levinsky. Earl was very sad to be predeceased by his sister Betty Levinsky and his former wife Ora Cannon Coxford. Dad was very proud of his career as a Teacher and Professor for over 38 years. He enjoyed his retirement years at his home on Dalhousie Lake with many great neighbours and pupils of Lakeview Ceramics. The family would like to thank the staff at Carleton Place Manor for their excellent care of Dad for the past two years. As per Dad’s wishes a private family service will be held at the Carleton Place Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 61 Lake Avenue West on Friday, October 5, 2012. Interment at a later date at Halladay Cemetery, Elgin, Ontario. For those who wish, please consider a donation in Earl’s memory to the Carleton Place Hospital.
