Suddenly in hospital on Friday, August 5, 2011 at the age of 73. Predeceased by his beloved wife Marilyn on May 30, 2011. Dale was the dearly loved father of Christine and Barry, and adored grandfather of Cassandra. He will be missed by his sister Phyllis (Gord Leslie), and his brother Bob (Mary). Predeceased by his parents Charles and Celena (nee Dale). Dale will be fondly remembered for his community involvement as Past Master, Ionic Masonic Lodge, No. 526, as a member of Tunis Temple Shriners, No. 179, and as a respected Elder and clerk of session of Parkwood Presbyterian Church. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore Dr and Baseline Rd), Nepean, on Wednesday, August 10th from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. A Masonic Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Parkwood Presbyterian Church, 10 Chesterton Drive, on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend James Hurd officiating. Inurnment following reception at St. Paul’s United Cemetery, Richmond. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice at May Court or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
